Beautiful building and garden. The furniture & decoration is very traditional and comfortable. Breakfast was superb. Freshly cooked full English on top of fruit, yoghurts, cereals, croissants, pastries and toast. Our host was very friendly and full of useful information and of course Fergus the dog was adorable

Extremely well priced, staff were friendly and accommodating. The cleaning staff did a good job in the room.. this venue exceeded expectations by a long way. Can’t complain and thank you to the cleaning staff that refilled the tea and coffee on the room. 👍🏻

Wasn’t much to not like, I’d maybe suggest spicing up the table tennis room to make it a bit more game oriented. A couple of old school sports pictures with wooden frames and wooden rackets on the wall might make it a more go to place but keep with the Victorian side of the building. The skirting boards need a paint or deep clean but it’s not that noticeable. It would just uplift what for its price Is a great hotel. Just please don’t put me on the 400 floor my legs are aching 👍🏻

The apartment was very comfortable, beautifully furnished and well equipped. When we arrived there was Orcadian folk music playing, which I thought was a lovely touch.

Not many options on the menu for an evening meal as its bar food. The hall for breakfast is only used for breakfast not sure why as then could offer more options for food.
