We had a fantastic stay at Trevose Harbour House. Angela and Oliver could not have been more welcoming and accommodating. We had a lovely drink with Oliver on arrival and he talked us through the area and made us feel so welcome. Our room was beautiful with a huge bathroom and gorgeous shower. The breakfast was exceptional. Made to order, fresh and a great choice. Different home made smoothies to start, then an impressive choice of starters and mains (for breakfast!) and they were all delicious. It was a 5 star breakfast. Trevose Harbour House is a 2 min walk to the beach - I was able to go for a swim before breakfast each day - it was perfect. We cannot wait to go back.

The staff were amazing and they honestly tried to give me reasons for my worries. They young man in the reastaurant ( I have forgotten his name) was wonderful (He has a bright future ahead of him). The place was wonderful, serene, and really decent.

The pillows were very dusty/hard, the bedsheet was not ironed, and it felt like the bed was with bugs. It was itchy the whole night and let me little sleep. The bathroom felt curved/tilted and it was a bit uncomfortable brushing your whilst standing.

The apartment was spacious and convenient for Princes Street.

There was a lot of litter on the street outside the apartment. A few more kitchen utensils would have been useful. e.g wooden spoon, oven tray, sieve

We stayed in room 204 and the smell was horrendous. We didn't check in until 11.30pm as we were out drinking from the afternoon, we told reception about this the next morning as it was so late and drunk couldn't be bothered with the hasel. We've stayed here about 5 times and never had an issue, only this one time, which was really disappointing. If we had checked into our room at the selected time, we would have complained and would have requested a different room.

I'd booked next to Redbridge Tube deliberately, I recieved a call "upgrading me" but I wasn't told it was a 12 minute walk from the station and 1/2 hour further to drive in the morning

Location and Price £80 for the room is OK.

Room amenities, overall smell in the room to cooked food being done in the kitchen. Excess of noise from 7pm onwards until 11pm it was hard to sleep. Food I asked for dinner was not nice even I paid good money for a sirloin that smelled to fish, salad very poor. The whole saloon, stairs and room had the aspect of being not cleaned enough
