Always a warm welcome and efficient staff and service, some nice little touches to ensure your stay is pleasant, ideally situated across from public transport, buses and trains, 100% recommended this accommodation, always try to stay here when visiting Clitheroe absolutely superb

The location was great and with parking. We could drive in, and in the evenings walk along the docks and paved walkways of the River Mersey with all its statues and history, choosing what we planned to do the next day.

Comfortable room, great location - easy nearby parking, taxis, public transport. Didn’t have breakfast but bar staff in the evening and hotel reception staff were friendly, welcoming and professional.

Bed was rock solid ! We asked for some help for second night had a duvet on top of the mattress which didn’t help much ! Was so uncomfortable it was unreal! Cooking smells the min u open the front door. All way thru the property that made us feel impeccably sick! Ranging from fat/ grease, currry and other cooking smells even in our room and the bedding also had a hint of cooking smell. We felt uncomfortable being in as the smell was bad wouldn’t mind but there wasn’t even an option for breakfast which we could have understood the smell . Wall paper hanging of wall/ patchy. Old water bottle under the bed (so wasn’t exactly clean !) 2 towels offered and not replaced second day allthou we asked and ended up buying pillows for second night as had 3 very thin pillows between us. Mentioned when we said about the mattress to be told we shud have said the night before (we only got into bed later and felt it was too late !)

The flat was in a cellar. Spiders hang from the ceiling and the water pipeline made weird noises. I could hear every step the one in the flat above made, which was annoying too. This apartment is not worth the money.
