The house was just wonderful. Beautifully decorated and very clean and tidy. Brilliant location, central to everything. The street however was peaceful, great for the kids early bedtimes. Very thoughtful welcome basket left with wine, crisps, cookies, milk etc The shower was lovely! Beds were so so comfortable. Pauline was a lovely, welcoming host. We will definitely be returning.

Not enough staff at the bar! We had been to a concert on the Saturday evening (like many other guests at the hotel) & fancied a drink afterwards. We were told earlier that the bar was open till 1.30am on the Sunday morning. When we arrived back the queue for the bar was horrendous. There was only 1 member of staff serving & after 30 mins, my husband & his friend had not moved in the queue so gave up! Most guests did the same so the hotel missed out on making a lot of money through drink & snack sales. Disappointing. Would also have preferred parking to have been included in the tariff.
