  Location. Bed v comfy. Good value. Parking. Nice full english breakfast. Good coffee.

  Evenjng meal. We stayed only 1 night and it was Steak Night so more choice may be available other nights but… menu choices limited and the quality of the fish n chips and burger and chips we chose was ok but nothing special. Being near coast, we had hoped for better fish than we’d get at home in Gloucester - it didn’t compare with the better fish n chips at home sadly. Bedrooms are on 1st floor, directly over bar and restaurant areas. There was a darts competition and unfortunately soundproofing not good enough to suppress sound enough to get to sleep. It almost felt like we were still down in the bar! In our room we found it was noisy from downstairs until around midnight. Music started again about 7am as they prepared for breakfasts. If you are sensitive to noise when you are trying to sleep - you may want to pack good earplugs.

  Got and became way too hot in the night and the windows did not make it any cooler with the blinds up. Was quite uncomfortable and lost sleep due to this Pool is a bit too crammed and not much room to move around in if you don’t want to swim properly
