Everything very accessible and spacious. As for location, it is perfect, close to the high streets, supermarkets, cafes, restarants etc. The hotel is also very close to the Birmingham Symphony Hall, a venue that is literally next door to the hotel, where I had booked a ticket to see a concert. I stayed at this same hotel last year too when i saw a concert at the Utilita Arena building which is also very close, so close in fact that I could see Utilita building from my hotel window.

Nothing to say here really as there wasn't anything i could think of that I didn't like... it was just the perfect hotel. I can only speak from own experiences though. Actually, I wasn't going to bring this up but I suppose if there is one thing that concerned me a little was the last time I left my room, (this was on the day i was leaving and about to check out), this was room 506 just for reference, the black plastic thing that you scan your card against to get inside the room, had fallen off. I literally opened my door to leave the room and as I did this, the black plastic casing thing just fell off just like that. I picked it up and saw that I could clip it back in place much like the lid of a television remote where the batteries go, you can just clip it in place. I have no idea if that's a common issue with the hotel or not or if it was just my particular room 506. It was probably just a little loose. I should have mentioned this down at reception when I checked out but forgot. I didn't think it was too big of a deal in any case, like i said, it looks like the thing was just a little loose that's all.

The breakfast was excellent and while the rooms and furnishings were oldish, they were exactly what you would expect from a country farm B&B. Pauline as the host was wonderful and extremely friendly and hospitable. I would recommend it to anyone

Nothing really.

Very clean and spacious room, we even had a conservatory! The beds are to die for! Like a firm cloud. Lovely setting, close enough to Lancaster but far enough to feel like you're out in the "country"

It was a bit out of town and rather a long walk uphill. We did have a car but unfortunately it couldn’t be used into down because roads were closed due to the common riding taking part in the town during most of the day.

Great decor and had a nice feel about it

The location and the cleaning were awful. Very unclean and damaged everywhere in my executive room. Then the music playing until 12pm really didn’t help.

Reception staff member was trainee, no one on hand to help her out which was frustrating. Coffee machine advertised wasn't in room although they did source one for me, (but I shouldn't have had to ask.) Very little light in room due to wall about 1ft from window, no view apart from wall....photo attached. Dinner was ok but small portions, the salmon was a joke, about 1" cube of salmon. Way overpriced.... 3 course with a mediocre bottle of sauv-blanc and Irish coffee was £111! for 1 person. Breakfast was plentiful but poor quality, bacon like leather, fried eggs and scrambled eggs way overdone. Borderline inedible
