The room was super clean and in a great location, close to a bus stop with busses that ran directly from the train station. I felt really comfortable and safe staying there as a solo traveller. Room was a really good size as well. Great heating and a good shower too although a little tight getting in and out of it. The bed was comfortable as well. Not a cloud but still comfortable for a good nights sleep. I stayed there twice on two separate occasions so I would recommend to others. Owner was super helpful as well in answering my messages and calls and allowing me to leave my bag there for a few hours before I could check in. Note - there are no lifts so be prepared to carry your bag up the stairs. This isn't unique to this property, definitely a UK thing but something to note when packing your bag.

This was my absolute favourite stay while travelling the UK and I highly recommend. I didn't want to leave! The decor is gorgeous and the bed was absolute heaven. I literally didn't leave it all day. Warm, cosy and a complete cloud. Room was incredibly clean and a really good size with plenty of room to walk around and have your luggage open. I didn't need it but there was also heating so you'd be warm in the cooler months too. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of tasty options in addition to the usual English breakfast and cereal options. The owner was also super friendly, accomodating and helpful. If you're in Edinburgh, definitely stay here :)

Only thing I would improve is the shower pressure but I'd say this is down to the type of shower unit installed and personal preference. I still had good showers with decent pressure and hot water so I'd still recommend.

The room was huge, exceptionally clean and super close to the airport. I stayed there for the night after a long-haul flight from Aus and got a quick Uber from the airport rather than catching the recommended Hoppa bus which seemed to take a little while to come. Bed was really comfortable, had an amazing nights sleep. Room was also super quiet. Staff were very friendly and the breakfast in the morning offered a good selection of foods and real coffee. I'd definitely recommend staying there before / after a big flight.

Booked a double bed room but given a king size bed. No wonder I luckily became the guest of the day. Staff inherited the essence of British politics and refused to change room even online booking says double bed rooms were still available. Have to called to get toilet tissue replenished for twice.
