The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.
2
When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.
3
After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

Such a cosy and warm cottage full of charm with the modern touch to make it feel like home. There's all you need for a comfortable stay and the owners have kindly left some tea, coffee and biscuits for your arrival, just remember to bring your milk. It would be a nice, but, steep walk down into Hebden Bridge with a very steep climb back up the hill. We are walkers but, decided to make it easier by driving the car down there instead! Heptonstall is such a wonderful village with just a little Post Office that sells a few supplies so come prepared if you need anything or pop into one of the two pubs or Tea shop if it's food or drink you are after. We loved it so much that we are sure to be staying there again sometime. Many thanks

We had a meal in the restaurant on the first evening and had a long wait. Asked for some vinegar the staff was going from table to table when they had finished, they had ran out before we needed some.

Perfect location and very comfortable room.

The atmosphere in the dining area for breakfast was a bit bland

Location near person we were visiting.

Rooms at the back of the hotel overlook a very busy dual carriageway so road noise continued well into the night. Windows are only single glazed (presumably because it’s a v old property). Beds were very firm (too firm for us)

Nice clean room, great location.

The doors didn't fit into their frames properly and were a struggle to open & close. the sink didn't have hot water? Drunk people swearing and shouting in the outside area in the evening.
