The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.
2
When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.
3
After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

The Brackenborough is our go-to place to stay when we visit Louth. Our room was as comfortable and smart as always, and both dinner and breakfast were very good. What we especially appreciate is the staff, who manage to combine friendliness with a professional approach

The only thing I would like to improve is the facilities for making it easier/safer for guests to get in and out of the bath! While not decrepit, both my husband and have issues with arthritis, which made getting out of the bath a bit precarious for both us.

Great location for the beach & surrounding areas of South Devon, coastal path walks with great views, local restaurants 2 minute walk from Durham House & pebble beach a 5 minute walk away, lovely hosts & breakfast.

The location is excellent - just over a footbridge from Inverness town centre, yet easy to drive to without complication. The accommodation was fine, with a freshly decorated bathroom with very nice shower.

The road's parking all needs a resident permit or has restricted hours. Our room was initially only equipped with towels etc. for one person, but this was quickly sorted-out.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. A breakfast buffet was available and there was a nice and big shared living space/back yard (where you could see the occasional bunny).

In the room above us a family with young children could be heard running around late at night. Unsure if the walls are thin or if these people were loud, but I would advice to bring earplugs.

TV Downstairs & in each bedroom. All kitchen bits you’d need. Ice in freezer & some sauces ect. Shower gel & toothpaste too nice touch. Nice estate & nice building.

Moldy shower & tiles. Letters everywhere. Location wasn’t great didn’t know how to open the gate to get to the shops so had to use Ubers. Milk was 2 weeks out of date in the fridge.

Room was clean & tidy.

Having to pay for parking on top of room rate. The hotel has to make a profit but food & drink are expensive there also Hotel room was far too hot during the night. No sign of a thermostat in the room. Turns out, the weird "box" that we thought was a radiator under the window, is also an A/C unit.
