The room was clean, recently refurbished and modern. The bar area was welcoming and creatively decorated. The breakfast was well-cooked, value for money and professionally presented. The location was quiet, close to the sea front, with parking on site and in the local streets.

Super lovely, newly renovated hotel with cozy and thougtfully decorated rooms. Super comfortable bed with fluffy sheets. Nice smell of diffusor and high quality hygiene products. Central location in Burford. Cozy patio.

The room (Sorrow) was unfortunately too small for two people for three nights (we could not leave our luggage open or hang cloths). Also very little space at the washbasin (squeezed inbetween shower and toilet). No real reception.

Good choice at breakfast - both hot and cold. Friendly staff on check in. Lifts had good service to upper floors.

Slippery shower floor and no grab rail. Only whole milk or oat milk at breakfast- no semi skimmed etc. Milk for cereals not that cold, hot food not that hot. Some distance from main stations, shops etc. Gym okay but not a full range of equipment.

My room, 181 was so far away from reception and as I was on my own I felt a little uncomfortable about that. Also it just didn’t feel that nice and the loo needs an entire bottle of white vinegar tipped down it to remove the lime scale. On Monday night when the fire alarms went off there was just one other person who left their room on the floor and he seemed to be staff as he directed me to the meeting point - maybe that’s why the room is in need of a little TLC - it’s mainly used for staff?

The location was excellent only about 10 minutes walk from the city centre.

Overall the accomodaton was clean and tidy but there were one or two minor things which cold easily be put right for future tenants. 1)We found a dirty sauce pan with food left in it in kitchen cupbourd. It had been overlooked when the appartment had been cleaned before we arrived. 2)It would be useful to have instructions for the kitchen hob. We worked this out but it took a while 3)It would be useful to have wipes to wipe over kitchen surfaces. 4)It would be useful to have a bath mat in the bathroom. 5)Not really a dislike but I want to let you know we had a delivery Monday evening. The parcel is in the lounge to be collected. If this is not a genuine delivery then it will need to returned.
