Everything: location, facilities, staff! Single traveller, in London for 5 days. Bus station and tube 5 mnts walk from the Hotel. The room was a single room: bed very comfortable, bathroom with great hot shower, great amenities. The staff was very helpful, I had trouble with accessing the room a few times as the magnet gets a bit funny if the room key card is next to a mobile phone or when going underground, the staff sorted it for me every time! 24hrs reception a bonus! No laundry available, however, there’s a small laundry shop 2mnts down the road

The breakfast was lovely, plenty of choice, it was in a great location, 10 minute walk up hill to Windermere or 15 minute walk down hill to Bowness. Hotel was clean and well presented and the room was comfortable with great shower and tea and coffee facilities. The young lady who served us breakfast was polite and friendly.

We were in Room 5 which I would say was on the top floor or the loft, although we could manage this after walking 10 miles each day climbing 2 flights of stairs was hard going. Think this should be mentioned when advertised or in the booking comments.

On arrival staff were friendly and professional. Our room was lovely, clean and bright. Breakfast is always delicious, been before so knew what to expect, lots of choice and delicious food. Staff were helpful and efficient, cleaning the tables as quick as possible. Location is really good, you can walk or bus it to York.

We have stay many times before, so on being given a bedroom we did ask for a different one as the initial room given to us was downstairs with no lift. As pensioners we didn’t want to carry cases downstairs. The staff were kind enough to offer a different room.

The location, St Agnes is a lovely village The off street parking was a bonus. Rosie was very pleasant on arrival.

Was ok for a one night stay, bed not that comfy, no hairdryer in the room. The bathroom was a shower and basin next to the bed with a shower curtain around it and the toilet in the other corner with a wall built around it.

Had to be moved from room 17 as it had a big blood stain on mattress they try to cover up by the sheet. Then I was moved to room 1. Nice bathroom but had mice in the room. Also rooms right next to a pub. So all you can hear is music and people shouting can not get a good night sleep also the whole pub / hotel section stinks like mould. House keeping non existent. I would rather stay in my car than stay here again. Absolutely awful.
