Location right in the centre of the Old Town was fantastic. The hosts were really friendly and helpful. All in all we can't fault our stay, and we will definitely be back.

We had a lovely 2 bedroom apartment with plenty of room for our 2 daughters and grandson aged 2. We had some peaceful walks in the beautiful grounds

4 flights of stairs with no working lift was difficult with a torn ligament in my knee and my friend has a compressed disc in her back. No warning there was no lift until we were there. Sheets didn’t fit the bed, very thin and marked. Towels smelt of cigarette smoke 🤮 No iron, no microwave, stained cushions, sofa very uncomfortable as seats slip forward all the time. Communal areas dirty and noisy and alleyway to apartment used as a urinal as witnessed by ourselves on our second evening.

We booked a meal for 5p.m. We left at 7.10 having only had 2 courses and 2 couples just left because of the wait although the dining room was not busy. The food was only just adequate in portion sizes lacking vegetables. The waiter couldn’t divide a simple bill by 2 and the manager got out his calculator!!! I did it in my head. The lift was out of order and we both have had knee replacement operations and our room was on the 2nd floor. The bedroom was “bijou” and lacking a bedside table due to lack of space. The towels were lovely but the bottom of the bathroom door was rotting away. I asked for our window to be opened, we could get to it, but this didn’t happen and it was a somewhat stuffy uncomfortable night. The hotel needs considerable upgrading. Its main attraction is the location.

Curtains let to much light in. I’ve done home with lots of bites from something in the room. Bathroom needs a re- grout . Damp and mould smell.
