Thank you so much Jules and Carol for a truly special and memorable stay celebrating my birthday. We had a lovely time on Arran and at Stonewater House and were so grateful to be able to switch off and relax. The breakfasts were absolutely amazing - delicious, healthy, and always kept us well-fuelled for all of our adventures around the island! Thank you both again, and we hope to come back soon!

Being met on arrival by very friendly staff who carried our luggage to the apartment and showed us around. The apartment was beautiful and positioned in the heart of Westminster. On departure we were asked if everything was OK. Couldn't fault our stay. We will book again.

The downstairs of the hotel was lovely and gave a very different impression in terms of the appearance of the room we were allocated. The breakfast was good with various options, plentiful and hot.

Our room was very dated and very much needed a refurbishment. Though the room was clean, the decor was old with chipped paint work, dated furniture and the bathroom was a mix match of floor/ wall tiles, bathroom suite which looked like it just needed to be fully redone. Very little plug sockets….an extension lead was used for the Tv and kettle The hotel was incredibly warm. Better value at a Premier Inn

I have stayed at this Hotel before a few years ago and I was very satisfied. I aware of the refurbishment that is going on. But I was very disappointed this time.

I did have a good experience this time 2days to get Soya milk for my Breakfast, a Hotel of this size. I did give notice I would be arriving early on Monday 29/04/24 7:30am ish could I get a room at that time this was granted. (No issues) Given that I was up a 04:00am that morning to travel. I didn’t have anything to eat. Bag into my room no issues. I went down to the Dinning room to ask if I could have a breakfast Yes no problems that will be £15:95 I paid by card. Into the dinning room for some cornflakes but no Soya milk only Oat Milk (which is not Soya milk) The Manager who charged me the cost was unable to obtain Soya Milk, walked to a near by shop (or so he said) ? Do you want any breakfast Answer No I’ll refund you money onto your card it will take a couple of days. That’s ok thanks. He would get Soya milk for the next morning 30/04/24. Down for breakfast it was a lady manager I asked for Soya milk still none available, but this manager managed to get some, and I also used the milk on the morning of the 01/05/24 on the day I was checking out, I asked the receptionist if my account had been reimbursed with the £15:95 she said no probably another 2/3 days 15 days from when the was taken out of my account, and I’m still out of pocket, very poor customer service.

Location just out of town was a bit of a hassle when staying a couple of nights. The room was rather small, particularly being attic style with slanted ceiling.

The bed was so uncomfortable - a cheap bed with no support. At the room rate charged this was unacceptable. The smell in the hallway outside of our room was noxious and most unpleasant. Fortunately the smell did not permeate into our room otherwise we would have requested to be moved. However it made very unpleasant leaving and arriving to our accommodation. A bond of £350 was required on arrival which we felt was excessive and had not been advised as required when we made our booking.
