EVERYTHING. Spotlessly clean. Well equipped. Comfortable bed. First class host, great communication, very friendly but did not interfere. Excellent location, great central hub for exploring Portsmouth and surrounding area including London one way and the Isle of Wight the other way. Oh, and wonderful views from the balcony. Even though it is close to bars and restaurants we were not at all disturbed.

Perfect for what I needed, an affordable room for the night close to Chester. Check-in was easy, staff were great and room had all the facilities I required. Didn't get back in time to use the bar and didn't have time for beakfast, but the menu looked great and catered for my vegan needs which was nice to know. Will stay again if I'm ever in the area. Recommended.

- very good location just at the entrance of Penzance, convenient for driving and walking into town - the hotel is on the slopes of a hill overlooking the port and St Michael’s Mount. The common areas and rooms have excellent views - breakfast was excellent with the chef cooking eggs on the spot as per your preference - the staff was very good.

- the parking is limited and costs extra - which we knew - but it’s also on a slope and rather narrow. People driving SUVs, vans etc might consider parking elsewhere - our room had erratic hot water but the staff did sort it out, so it was ok in the end.

Very friendly hosts, made us feel very welcome, including the dog . Great breakfast and loads of it ,kept us going all day . Made us feel like we were part of the family. Parking was a bonus.

The staff are lovely however I never did get my extra pillows. Bathroom tight on space but lovely.

The bed was so very uncomfortable also the pillow. It was impossible to get any rest. If there had been any floor space at all I would have slept on the floor. Very much a shame because otherwise perfect for anything going on in Wembley No tea and coffee in the room. and don't take too long getting sorted in the morning or they will knock on your door and tell you to leave at exactly 11am
