My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights, bed and breakfast. We were made to feel very welcome from the minute we arrived. Nothing was too much trouble for anyone . All of the staff were very nice. We had one issue with the shower, which was seen in minutes. I am very impressed and will definitely be back. Hopefully, next time we might, we will get a room that faces out to sea. However, our room was incredibly comfortable on the 6th floor . Can't wait to return xx 10 out of 10 x

Everything 😁. From an early check-in to leaving the hotel, everything was perfect Staff were all so friendly and helpful. Food was of the highest level and we ate 3 times at the restaurant. Our room was immaculate. Perfectly situated in a lovely town.

The facilities for kids and hidden gems (like the bear and cinema room) are so great. The grounds are some of the most beautiful I've ever seen. Pools are exceptional. Loved our room and the rich history of the place.

The waiting times for service. I probably spent an hour total queuing in reception to check in + ask about dinner reservations + asking about facilities, as there was never more than one person checking in people (a very long process), on the phone to booking.com about their chat system being hacked (a huge issue that booking.com is not helping with), or simply no one being there. Not ideal when you're pregnant and having a toddler in tow. In the restaurant, we repeatedly had to re-ask for menus, water, drinks order, to be seated, cutlery, and our food once took 50 minutes to arrive - again, not ideal with hungry kids. We ordered a supreme room, which is perfect, but not huge. It's a standard size room. That there are even smaller rooms for families is hard to imagine.

The intercom in our room didn’t work. We called reception via mobile phone and when it was busy we left a voice message for a call back as prompted but we hadn’t gotten one when we checked out an hour and half later

Our room was directly above the function room & as well as the bass booming out we could here every word the d j said until after 11:00 When I complained to the duty manager 1) he said there was a disclaimer in their terms & conditions which I should have read in full before booking 2) bedside if we would like to gather our possessions together he would book us into another hotel - at 10:15 at night He continually apologised . saying there was nothing he could do - what no terms & conditions for booking the function room!! Eventually after five times of asking he went to ask for the volume to be turned down - it was back up to it’s original volume five minutes later. What made it worse was the fact that although his words were correct his tone facial expressions & manner all said I couldn’t care a toss & Im going to wind you up as much as I can I searched for their terms & conditions & only ones I could find were for use of their website! On the page for booking rooms at the very end which you don’t get to if you book a room it states “ there may be some noise in some rooms when a function is on” That is not a disclaimer & isvirtually hidden Intend returning to Lincoln but will never stay there & would not recommend to anybody
