This is a well positioned place with possible views of the Ullapool surroundings. Beautiful sunsets from the jetty at end of street. The fixtures, lighting, paint was new and the room was spotless. The parking is convenient in front of the building on the street. Breakfast staff was wonderful and cheerful and good croissants. The evening bartender allowed us to eat our take-out in the bar with drinks purchased there.

The staff at check-in in the bar did get us our key, but little else. The wi-fi was non-existent. The waterfront view room looked through a parked car 12 inches from the window. The restaurant is not functioning in April, but the bar is, and next to the 'arch' next was our street level room. Maybe avoid rooms 1 and 2 if that bothers you. The continental breakfast was adequate. Some louder citizens in and out of the building at night. The bar had very recently been painted-some painter's tape still up, and wall lamps lighted only a long wall of painting hangers.

Good central location, small rooms but with everything you need. Ideal for solo travellers.

I had a pizza in the bar the night of my arrival - it wasn’t the best but just my own taste.

Good value for money, ideally placed for Castleford Tigers. Busy bar, good prices.

Staff worked very well, even though understaffed. Breakfast was very good.

Car parking at £8.50 a night for customers WOW !! Barman worked overtime, very good worker but again well understaffed. And the "ONE" bar is so small for the hotel, you haven't a chance of getting served when there is a wedding there.

Convenient walk from train station instead of taking the tube.

Nothing, although bathroom was quite small.

The location was fine, close to where I needed to be.

It is extremely dated. The room had one plug socket, which was at floor level by the entrance door, so nowhere near the bed to charge phones etc. The beds were uncomfortable. The room was cold. The building smelt of smoke. There was no shampoo etc, even in the dispenser on the wall in the shower. When we checked in we were told that breakfast was included, served from 8am. I explained that we would be checking out at 7:30, and would need something earlier than that, no suggestions were given. I would have expected to be told that we could grab a bowl of cereal or pastries. Instead we had to leave the hotel late in the evening to find a Tesco, purchase some cereal and milk (knowing it would stay cool in the bedroom!) and have that from the mugs in the room when we got up. I won’t be booking a Campanile again.

Couldn’t have breakfast as left before it started

Hard to walk to as little signage, over priced
