- “Baan Thai House is a really beautiful hotel set in really lovely grounds. We booked 2 rooms which were both absolutely lovely and one of the rooms had the bonus of an outdoor shower. The breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. We really loved the pool area which was well maintained with plenty of sun beds and a beautiful setting by the river. The staff were wonderful; extremely friendly and very helpful. We booked a sunset river tour through the hotel which was excellent and were dropped off at the night market for food. They also arranged a transfer back to Bangkok too. The hotel is a short tuk tuk or taxi ride to the main sights and we liked the fact it was tucked away in a lovely quiet area surrounded by well maintained gardens and a lovely lake. Would definitely stay here again!”

  Cosy feel to the place, welcoming, and had everything we needed! Helen was attentive and informative. Such a lovely apartment Just what we needed for some quality time together ❤️ Walked into York City and it was around 30 minutes to get there but it was a lovely sunny day so not a bad walk at all. Celebrated my birthday, the bottle of prosecco from Helen went down very nicely! Thanks for being so accommodating!

  everything ..the host had thought of and provided more than I had expected...it was a real home from home, the reason of our visit was to attend a wedding at nearby Gretna Hall. so it was sadly only a short 2 night stay, but if we are ever tavelling tha way again in the future, I would definately stop over again. we loved it.

  No 17 is in ideal spot. Parked the car on arrival & didn't need to use it again until we left. Could easily walk into town (approx 10mins). Easy reach of sights, restaurants etc. Our room had a beautiful view of Bath Abbey. Perfect.

  There was nothing I didn't like and loved our stay at No 17. The only thing I would like to bring to the owners attention is a few little repairs needed in Room 3. Screws loose on window catches and toilet door. Also toilet developed a squeak when flush pulled. Little DIY needed otherwise all ok.

  Location is great, close to everything Meva has to offer. A nice cosy property well decorated. Hassle free check in and check out experience.

  Ran out of toilet roll. Parking costs are £8.50 per 24hr. Minor cleanliness issues, definitely wasn’t deep cleaned prior to our stay which was a surprise as earliest check in was from 1600.
