When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.

Room 105, large twin (can be a double). TV and its controls needed adjusting by expert but all is in hand to be sorted. Excellent shower with brilliant water pressure. Beds comfortable. Has two `lounge` chairs plus desk and chair. Security seemed good. Wife had lovely b'fast she said. Very large car park and outdoor seating area. Packed with all ages enjoying themselves, wonderful to see. There are umbrellas and small cabins. I loved it. Bar and eating areas are beautiful, overall a stunnnng building well manged by Collum, wife and a whole host of staff.

No view, has frosted window for privacy.

The room was comfortable and well equipped. It was spacious and very clean. A few issues I had were quickly solved. (The check in was easy except that my cellphone signal was not very strong there, so I couldn't access the email about checking in, so would have had an issue if I couldn't remember the booking code.)

I would have preferred to have an onsite host. I had a couple of issues that would have been easier and quicker to resolve if someone had been available to talk to. Also, my cell signal wasn't very strong in that area, which meant I couldn't use my phone in the building. The signal was better outside, I discovered later.

Absolutely lovely park and caravan even made a last-minute request to stay an additional night, which was amazing, so grateful for our stay was a much needed little family break

The room was very good, spacious, clean. The staff was very helpful and excellent breakfast! The bus stop just outside the hotel was perfect to get to the city centre.

Stayed in a suite in the new rooms section of the building. Really nice room, facilities, food and small touches like the welcome back note and chocolates

The location was bang on, 5-10 minute to the city centre, that's one of the reasons I picked it

Our 1st room backed onto York Railway Station, there was a massive vibration in our room at night, it turns out it was trains in the station. Also to the other side there was the Royal Mail sorting office, they started work between 3 & 5 in the morning, very noisy. Really not worth the money we paid

Between two noce areas, close to the park. But quite noisy, facing a busy street

Mold and dirt. Lots of works made difficult to access and dangerous (particularly for kids). Service never responded to our enquiries for 3 nights. Amenities not as in the description
