Conveniently located in the center of Broadstairs in a charming little square with an ensample of lovely little flintstone cottages, just a few meters away from the harbor and the beach. The house had an extensive library of DVDs, CDs, books and games and a playing room in the basement - so very suitable for families with kids. Kitchen equipped with everything you need for a longer stay incl. a washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, lots of pots and pans.

Key deposit box needs some lubricant, had a hard time releasing the key. The mattress was way too soft for my liking, me and my wife could barely sleep on it. The overall cleanliness could have been better, especially the bath room was very dusty in the corners, also the outdoor table on the little backyard patio needed cleaning from bird... you know... but otherwise it was quite OK. Some of the floorboards in the main bedroom are loose, so you hear a *plong-plong* every time you walk from the bath room into the bedroom. Light bulb from one of the lamps in the living room broken, probably because it has a EU-thread and they didn't have a replacement at hand. During our stay the kitchen fuse flew, so I had to text the host (Phil and Beverly) under the mobile number they provided, but did not get any answer so I looked myself for the fuse box and eventually found it next to the sofa.

Spectacular experience of a hotel had a very similar price to surrounding regular hotels. Bar and restaurant had an excellent selection. Room much more spacious than we were expecting. brilliant location for O2 arena and Excel centre.

Most access is by very busy small lifts. We were unlucky on our stay that only one was working.

Room was very pleasant & quiet (even though it faced the main road). Breakfast was good, plenty of choice & quantity. Location (for the Crucible) was excellent

The room was too hot at night even though the room thermostat was on * (frost) setting. From the roadside entrance it needs a clearer sign where Reception is located. I felt the cost of breakfast (think it was £14.50) was a bit high: £10 would be more reasonable for what was offered.

Very nice hotel and in great condition. Nice garden, great food and bar. Owner and staff very helpful. Had to leave very early and offered a take away breakfast.

Staff were lovely. The hotel is very comfortable and clean with quirky furnishings which makes you smile. Bathroom/shower was great.

Room was small and not much wardrobe space. Okay for 1 or 2 nights but not longer in the room we were in.

The breakfast was great close by but not many seatings available which meant that we eat elsewhere some days.
