Lovely old building in a small village, with nice surroundings for walking. There is a very pleasant garden with plenty of seating. The accommodation was very comfortable with a super big bed. The staff were great and very helpful. The dinner and breakfast were very tasty.

Only staying one night, wish I'd booked for a longer stay.

Staff were very helpful. Came to clean the bathroom when we found wee on the toilet seat and head hairs in the sink. Also helped my other half set up a birthday surprise for me. Hotel was in a great location in the village and for exploring the area.

Double bed was two twins pushed together. The mattresses were quite soft & sloped from where they met to the edge. Wasn't very comfortable. The hotel's car park is tiny and no spaces were available during our stay. But the main car park in the village was just over the road and it only cost £1 per car to park there overnight (6pm to 8am).

Location was great, free parking, spotlessly clean, and what a bonus the wonderful view was! We came back each evening for a night cap and to watch the sunset! I even had an early bird alarm each morning!

Nothing really, bathroom was small but fine for us.

The accommodation is basic but immaculately clean. A nice touch was a free bottle of wine and M&S biscuits to go with the tea/coffee. The owner was very friendly and helpful.

Premises is rather tatty. Could do with a bit of a tidy up. Still good value for the price and I only slept there.

Perfect for a one-night stay and the bag drop was handy too. No frills but exactly what was required. Bed, shower, toilet and quiet room
Negative section of review
Absolutely nothing. As long as you don't have any expectations of facilities

Location was a 20 minutes walk from St Pancras International. There were a lot of small shops were you could buy food.

The window was closed with a screen

It was a really lovely room and the facilities were great. Shower was nice.

The side tables hadn’t been cleaned properly as there was sticky stuff all over one (looked like caramel) the fire alarms also went off sporadically really early around 6am and then it happened again about 20 minutes later so our one opportunity for a kid free lay in was unfortunately non existent:( (They weren’t on long enough for it to be a drill, it was as though it was a mistake)

Everything was lovely. Would definitely stay again

Nothing

Central with easy car park opposite

The bathroom was very odd : A giant shower cubicle with the shower, toilet and sink inside. Floor very wobbly - made me motion sick stepping inside. Asked for another room without it but hotel said they were all modernised the same way. We didn’t sleep the night in the end and left.

Staff were friendly

Room was dusty and sheets were dirty with bugs everywhere
