What a fantastic experience we had at Rookery Hall Hotel. The Reception staff were all so friendly & professional. Robin carried our cases & showed us round the hotel & then took us to our room, he was so lovely & so informative. The room was fabulous, with gorgeous views of the garden. We had dinner in the restaurant & wow what a meal! It was truly amazing & the staff that served us got it just right - they were there when we were ready. Breakfast again was freshly cooked to order which was excellent. And again the service was exceptional. All in all a wonderful stay at an exquisite hotel. We’ll definitely be returning.

Not a lot - the deep step up into the bathroom in the room was quite steep.

Ben kept us informed of directions to the property and how to access our room and was very helpful in organising a place for dinner on the night of our stay. The basic breakfast supplies were appreciated for our early start to head to the airport. Our room was well appointed, comfortable, with a fantastic view looking across the countryside. The property is perfectly situated close to the airport.

SUPER friendly welcome Instead of a key, there was a number pad and entry was last 4 digits of your number so you wouldn't forget GREAT pub underneath A teddy bear was in each room Nice size room Nice kitchen with everything

Breakfast was DIY which some people may like but I personally didn't. They did have a lot to use tho

As usual staff were friendly and helpful. We don't normally stay for the weekend, do the staff were new to us, but were just as ameniable as we have come accustomed to.

Sunday lunch was very nice. Did not use the restaurant for breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful. Centrally located for access to Northallerton..

Our rooms were quite difficult to access due to several small flights of stairs and fire doors made iaccess difficult with luggage. Parking at the rear of the hotel was not easily visible and I needed to ring twice for directions.

The staff were absolutely lovely at this location. Great breakfast included in the price too.

Location wasn't ideal, but still close to town.

All great! Nothing bad

Great use of space, everything you needed. And the view was great.

A little further off the beaten path than I'd thought. Not really a negative as that is part of the charm.

Comfortable large bed. Nice breakfast. Clean.

Lack of shelving or hooks in bathroom. Could do with a suitcase rack.

Good location - near town & rail station

The keycards were very unreliable. They would open the room door once only and then need recharging. We were down a long corridor on floor 2 & I have mobility problems so a long walk back down to Reception to get the card recharged was very inconvenient and wearisome. The staff didn’t seem very concerned by the recurring problem.
