Positive section of review
Location was great, short walking distance to shops, cafes and takeaways. Parking outside the property was fantastic, no looking for somewhere to park. Requested a ground floor as i have walking difficulties, flat no 1 had a shower seat ideal for me, and everything on one level. The apartment had everything we needed, clean, comfortable. a real gem. We even had a garden with table and chairs, a real bonus because the weather was lovely. Highly recommend.

Great location, straightforward to get to if arriving from London City Airport. There was a complimentary washing machine and tumble drier which is handy if you use the (small) gym. A problem with the TV power supply was promptly fixed after I mentioned it. I had the continental breakfast for which there was a good selection available. The vending machine seemed reasonably priced.

The shower took a long time (5+ minutes) for hot water. The TV digital box power supply was making a crackling sound like there was a fault. The TV channels by default (via the digital box) were very limited. There was a larger range available if you manually switched to antenna input. The antenna socket on the TV had a bad connection. The room was dated and could do with redecoration and better soundproofing between rooms. When checking-in in the afternoon, the receptionist led me to the self-check-in which seemed odd for this type of hotel.

A very stylish townhouse that has been recently refurbished. The staff were very friendly and helpful, I had a lot of heavy bags and these were carried both up and downstairs for me without me having to ask. My room was very spacious, calm colours and a good view. Excellent simple-to-operate shower (lots aren't!), very good lighting in shower room.

The card machine wouldn't work on my credit cards, both of which were working elsewhere on the same day. In the end I had to find a cashline to get cash. I didn't have a car with me but there didn't appear to be anywhere nearby to park.

The front desk had no hair dryers. The vending machine sold power converters, but were displaying only UK side up. So after buying one found out it was EU to UK not US. Waste of money, and no help from the front desk (different companies apparently). Also, no available coffee until 7? Oof. That was a walk to Starbucks!
