Everything! A beautiful old manse house in the most stunning, quiet setting. Ed was very welcoming and explained everything perfectly. My single room was lovely and had everything I needed, bed was comfortable, ensuite facilities were lovely. The honesty bar on the landing was a great idea and bonus, I had a nice cold beer after a long day on my motorbike doing part of the NC500! It was most welcome! The cooked breakfast was delicious, I recommend the venison sausages, yum! Carol's homemade jam was delicious also. There is a lovely walk along the shores of the Cromarty Firth which is just down the road from the guest house. I highly recommend this lovely place.

Nothing! Only sad that I couldn't stay longer, will definitely be back!

The property is a grade 2 listed building and it’s like stepping back in time with the furnishings and decor…. It was beautiful. It is full of history and charm. It is spotlessly clean inside and the grounds and gardens are lovely.

The shower was either freezing cold or too hot. A power cut which lasted about 1 1/2 hrs Friday night. No kitchen facilities- no breakfast.

Wardrobe already full with dressing gowns and ironing board. Nowhere to hang clothes. Breakfast was disappointing, Eggs were :snotty" Porridge was lumpy. Lots of steps to buffet. I drink decaf tea, that does not mean put 1 teabag in a large teapot. So weak I couldn't drink it so didn't bother ordering any the next day

Great location

Beds were old and need to be replaced. Not enough staff on for one of the busiest weekends Coniston sees in the year (chill swim weekend) staff that were there were great but needed more of them, and more food in. Local produce would also be good to see especially in such a lush area of the world.
