Location was very convenient to transport and shops. We liked the space and that it was on 1 level. We liked that there was a walk in shower and were impressed by the little touches in the bathrooms. Made us feel welcome. It was clear that the owner thought about the little things we would need to be comfortable in our home away from home. There was no road noise even though the Bus Stop was directly above us on street level.

There were 16 outside steps to negotiate with luggage that wasn't identified in the booking description. We found the second bed was quite hard. Second bedroom would benefit from a blackout curtain. We backed on to the train line. Trains didn't bother us during the day but were noticeable at night making it hard to settle to sleep. There are a few hours in the middle of the night where the trains stop running.

Didn’t have breakfast as 50.00 for 2 seemed a little excessive and had a nice breakfast close to hotel for half the price. The staff were very friendly professional and helpful particular the door men who helped with parking. The room was huge for a city centre hotel and very comfortable with small details appreciated like Milton brown toiletries and Yorkshire shortbread fab bathroom too

Breakfast was perfectly presented and the menu was great. You could not fail to be impressed by the service with a smile and high standards throughout. Well trained and friendly staff in every area.

Well located with a sideways view of the Thames from the balcony. A nice walk down the Thames from Southbank.

No bedding left for sofa beds despite repeated requests for it after reading other reviews. Searched for bedding and perhaps it was in one of the numerous pillowcases stuffed with dirty bedding in the cupboard. Managed to find a duvet cover each to sleep in which led to no sleep. The double bed had a duvet cover for a sheet. Had to ring for the checking in details at 4.20pm.
