  The hotel was what I think of as a typical holiday town establishment. When I arrived, there was a party of elderly trippers in the bar area and, later on, there was ‘entertainment’, in the form of a singer. In the morning, breakfast was served to me by a very pleasant lady before the coach party descended on the dining room. Then the volume went up! It was enjoyably amusing to overhear the chat and appreciate the camaraderie of the group. As I was down to attend a friend’s funeral, it brightened the start of the day! My room was a good size for just me, with en suite facilities. The bed was very comfortable and I had a good night’s sleep. All in all, a perfectly adequate overnight stay on a non-leisure trip.

  The hotel was pretty much as I expected it to be once I had seen it from the outside. One slight aggravation was the presence of the kitchen’s large extractor fan very close to my window, which was quite noisy and, if I opened the window, filled my room with food smells. Fortunately, there was a second window on another wall, which I opened instead.

  very happy with the price for what was offered, in fact i thought it was too cheap, i book hotels for the compamny i am employed at and i have paid far more for a premier inn previously, we have a project about 20 miles away from the property i will definatly be adding this accomodation to our data base
