The location was very central within easy walking distance to Oxford St and the theatres. It was nice to be able to come out of the theatre and only have a modest walk back.

We were woken up at 7am on a Sunday morning with a persistent ringing of the doorbell as the hosts had ordered a large delivery that needed to be let into the building. We were also sent a message from them after midnight the night before to tell us to be prepared for a delivery, but luckily the phone was on do not disturb. We were amazed that the hosts deemed this acceptable for paying guests. They said they thought we would be ok with this as ‘a favour’ as they had let us drop our bags off when we arrived without charging us! I think they need to understand more about customer service. Some elements of the property did not appear as advertised in the photos such as mould around the shower and on the bathroom ceiling, a filthy light pull chord and a bed head that was so worn it was cracked and peeling. Overall the apartment looks tired and in need of decorating. The sofa bed was virtually unusable but clearly the owners knew that as we had to take the early morning delivery of a new futon! Additionally the bath towels while clean were damp and the TV had no aerial connection.

The location of the hotel is ideal if attending a concert at the ovo. The staff were very helpful and professional a credit to the organisation.

The rooms however were tired and in dire need of redecorating. The furniture was marked and the walls were marked and appeared scruffy. It should also be added that staffing levels appeared to be limited as reception staff were also required to assist in the bar area which resulted in significant queues at both areas. In summary a perfect location but a slightly disappointing experience.
