The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.
2
When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.

After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

Room is spacious and warm, bed was comfy and big. We had a TV that worked, the curtains blacked out the room a lot. The shower was lovely too. Hosts were lovely and you just get left too it which is nice when you’re just having a day out and need somewhere to come back to relax after. Location is great as it’s not far to walk anywhere.

We were placed near the main door as someone before us didn’t return their keys so our room got changed, we were woken every time someone came in or out of the property (being Norwich it was every 20 minutes) and were awoken at 9am by another guest screaming down the phone having an argument, felt like we were in a hostel for a few minutes. We didn’t feel the need to mention it to the hosts as there wouldn’t have been anything they could have done as it was another guests behaviour that put a damper on our stay not the Hotel itself.

Location was ideal for me, near tube station and where I had meetings during my stay. The apartment was very quiet even though it was in a very central location. There were plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The kitchen was well equipped and it was all very clean. Very good value for central London.

There was a simple issue with the mattress (which I fixed) which I discussed with the host who was very helpful and considerate - very quick replies. Other than that everything was exactly as described.

Great room, fantastic breakfast and lovely interesting buildings and surroundings. Working at a private college for 23 years, Ratcliffe college Leicestershire which dates from 1847 it was interesting to experience a college that dates back even further but based on a familiar theme.

Loved the location! It was quiet and beautifully situated. We stayed in the studio which has everything you need for a comfortable relaxing stay. Beryl and Malcolm are great hosts, making you very welcome on arrival and are there if you need anything throughout your stay.

It was a little cold but that was soon fixed by a quick chat with Beryl and an extra heater was supplied.

Elizabeth was an amazing host, very welcoming and accommodating. Room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely. Location was great just outside the main town of Chepstow, pub across the road and lots of walking routes nearby.

The bed was one of the most comfortable that I have ever slept in. The location and view were both great and the room was incredibly spacious and comfortable - the complimentory Gin & Tonic in the room was a nice touch.

For the price we paid the experience was incredibly underwhelming and poor. The room, while large and comfortable was incrediblt noisy. It was in an annex in the car park and the window facing the road clearly wasn't sealed party as we heard every car driving down the road - it was about as noisy as having a nap in a layby on a busy A road. When we complained about the room we were shown a much smaller room. The staff were friendly but fairly incompetent - the porter asked if I wanted a hand with the bags as he showed us to the room? The breakfast was shocking. While it is served at the table it is clearly a buffet in the kitchen as it came to the table in about 30 seconds and was cold. The poached egg was like a golf ball- and about as tasty. Dinner at the Jetty was also underwhelming - I made the mistake ordering "The Jetty's Twist on Fish and Chips" the twist being that it was exactly like any other fish and chips except not as nice and about 3 times the price. The Harbour Hotel is 3 star hotel at best and had we paid £80 for the night we'd have been happy; however, we paid more than 3-times that and it was nothing short of a rip-off at those rates.
