Beautiful setting, really comfortable belle tents, warm and cosy and very relaxing! We all had a thoroughly enjoyable stay and didn't want for anything whilst we were there. Claire was a wonderful host and nothing was too much trouble. And so much to do and see in the local area. We'll definitely be back!

Fantastic place to stay. Lovely bedroom. The landlord is an absolute gem. Has a fantastic sense of humour and totally makes the place as well as the food. So good is the food and the breakfast is fantastic such great portions. Room comfy and clean. We will definitely go back.

The location was fantastic. Whilst there isn't on-site parking, it was fairly easy to park at The Palace. It was a spacious and light apartment, which made it an enjoyable stay.

The room needed to be cleaner. Saw dust specs everywhere. The english breakfast buffet was not as tasty as I would have liked given the price.

The upstairs apartment floor creaked and bounced when people moved around. This was very noisy, particularly as the guests above us seemed to be up all night.

No where to park when we arrived. We arrived just before check in and told bluntly and several times over that we would have to wait until 3pm ( we weren't asking to check in early) The staff were ignorant, we stood at the bar waiting to be served and no one looked up, we were ignored. Then when served, the barman looked up and just said "yeah". Went down at 9am. Waited 30 mins for breakfast. The waiter was too busy interrupting another tables morning chat with his own one man show, whilst the waitress went behind up cleaning up the mess he had created. The other waiter looked like he was trying to enter into some of form moody contest. We were woken up early (approx. 6am) by barrels being delivered, dropped and general loudness on Bank Holiday Monday.. No lay in for us! Went to check out and had to wait until a Manager walked through the front door and everyone seemed to jump into action!
