What can I say! Stunning location and amazing hotel with everything I needed for me and my dog Arthur. The food, both dinner and breakfast was very, very good with a really nice atmosphere in the bar area. The hotel catered so well for me and my dog with nothing being too much trouble. A particular mention for Lesley who was lovely and a great host. Definitely will return…. Thank you

Very cosy accommodation in a great location in North Shore. Always enjoy my stays here when visiting family and when running in races. The room is cosy and bed was very comfortable Peter and his partner are very friendly and make sure your stay is the best it can be. The breakfast options are great . It's also unbeatable value for money

The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. The purpose of our stay was to attend a funeral. Staff allowed us to have a late check out to fit in with the timing of the service. The bedroom was very spacious. Breakfast was very good.

I had to contact the agent to access the code to enter, having been promised an email, on the day, for this info. It was a long climb (five flights of stairs) to reach the room on the 2nd floor. There was no information in the room regarding wi-fi password, basic services, etc. Communication was poor in general. Shower was difficult to adjust. Work surface in the kitchen was extremely small, no tea-towel was provided. Wi-fi signal was extremely poor with television signal and personal laptop signal frequently breaking up.

The shower was pretty awful, the shower head had to be handheld to be used. Didn't try the breakfast, it didn't look great & no takeaway cups.

It's as basic as it gets. The bare minimum of facilities. No fridge. Tiny cups .postage stamp bathroom. Room not exactly pristine. Location hard to find down a long single track back road. While my expectations were limited I have to say I was seriously underwhelmed.
