We had such a comfortable, cozy time! It was the ideal location for us to complete the Yorkshire three peak challenge. The facilities were great and we loved the top floor with the tv! The little extra touches throughout the cottage were amazing.

There wasn’t really anything not to like! The only thing I would add was we couldn’t find a pizza cutter 🤣

Location is excellent central to a variety of transport options. Clean and beds are comfortable, staff were great to deal with.

The roof window blind was broken so difficult for our daughter to sleep with the light waking her early. But to be fair the staff were trying to get it fixed and had tradespeople in to look at it.

The fact that everything else is an extra, when I have spend a £130 per night on a room don't call me on the day I'm driving up to tell me that if I don't bring my own towels for the swimming pool it'll cost Mr £3.00 for each towel hire. Also don't tell me that to use what was a frankly pathetic gym itll cost me £5.00! As the 'schools were back and the were no kids, then breakfast started at 9:00,only 1 food poultry was open. I particulary didn't like Monica on reception with her condescending manner and her deciding to tell me political opinions on animal cruelty, but she excelled her herself when she found it funny and laughed at the fact that my wife who walks with 2 sticks was unable to walk there and back to, the wee shop' so she would have a, wee drive,! So don't go, don't waste your money cost the the area it is fantastic but stay at the Drimsynie Estate Hitel.

the dinner we had was really nice but maybe add a bit more variety and something a bit more hearty and filling as an option

All aspects were no more than mediocre, therefore not easy to find positives

Our reception was particularly unfriendly. Host gave the impression that she was doing us a favour letting us stay there and any question asked was dealat with a curt “all information can be found in your room. The instruction to order what was required foe breakfast the night before was ludicrous I have a health condition which makes food choices variable.. After our cool reception I was reluctant to enter into what inevitably become a contentious discussion The inn was very cold ad I had to ask for some heating in our room . This was eventually dealt with though one felt, reluctantly. Wife’s evening meal did not match what was on the menu
