The room was booked quite last minute for coleagues of mine. My party was checking in after hours, so the hotel was very good in that they contacted me to verify that all was still okay with the booking as the night went on. It was good to have that peace of mind that 'on arrival' all would be fine with the late check in.

Although it didn't really affect my colleagues, I suppose more flexible 24 hour check in arrangements would be useful to some travellers. Though as I stated, the staff were happy to acommodate my colleagues arrival just fine.

Everything - very homely character pub with purpose built accommodation block. Very spacious well equipped and clean room. Owner and staff very friendly and attentive. Breakfast and dinner were superb. Excellent value for money.

Position was good. Not too far to walk into the town. Place was clean. Loved the little balcony. Was nice to sit out having our morning cuppa, looking over to the sea and Abbey.

No lift. It was a struggle getting a case up and down the 2 flights of stairs. Curtains weren't floor length therefore a lot of light was in the room around 4.30am !! The TV should be on a moveable bracket so it could be angled towards the bed. You couldn't lie in bed and watch it properly. Water was left in the kettle. Bathroom needs hooks to hang towels up. Also needs a shower mat and a floor mat. The floor ends up getting very wet. Not a great idea having the shower controls outside of the shower !! Also a lot of people would struggle to get into the shower as there's only a 14 inch gap to get through. The bottom panel of the shower screen would be better taken off and a shower curtain put in it's place. Also possibly a hand rail installed in the shower as without a shower mat, it's quite dangerous. Safety is essential. Floorboards quite noisy when walking in the room.

Very spacious, gets a good amount of sunlight into the property, easy to find, location is perfect as supermarkets and local stores on the same road, parking available as well.

The kitchen is lacking in basic necessities such as there was no cleaning products, no kitchen roll, didn’t have knives or colanders or basic utensils you’d need to cook with. You get a flat tray 2 saucepans spatula 1 pan e.c.t hat to cut an onions using a butter knife which was slightly difficult. Would be better if there were extra pillows as the ones provided are quite thin, a hairdryer would be a nice touch and a fan as it can get as little warm and the windows open much so doesn’t allow for much airflow to get in.

In a beautiful woodland location. Stunning caravans and lodges. An elegant mix of caravans, cabanas and hotel. Must mention the staff also that made it a memorable stay

The location was very nice, with many lovely cafes/restaurants/shops within walking distance. It was well connected around the city with many bus routes.

The room was clean and tidy but had a damn/dusty smell every time I walked into the room. Also, I could hear people walking by, closing the door, talking and creaking sounds from the room above. I was lucky I had earplugs.

Bathroom was nice and clean , the coffee machine was nice and location was relatively easy to reach with a bus - 2£ per use

the bed was not really comfortable and the bedsheets were poor quality, pillow cases not fitted with the pillows , mattress was dirty
