The location was superb, just off the one way Winchester inner ring road, and on crossing that right onto the pedestrianised city centre. Our room and its bathroom. in the old part of the building, were super spacious and very well maintained and comfortable. The walled garden was beautiful, large and being late spring, complete with traditional deck chairs and patio tables. We didn’t eat in the hotel at all as there were so many options so close by including chains like Ask Italian, Zizzi and Côte as well as some historic pubs and many cafés.

Our room was up one flight of the main stairs, with no lift. We would have appreciated the offer of a porter for our bags, it wasn’t offered and we didn’t think to ask.

The inside of the hotel is much better and more beautiful than the outside makes it seem! It's very grandiose inside (you would NEVER be able to tell from the entrance). The room is comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was good, though I wish non-pork options were provided. Location is 10 mins from Manchester Piccadilly by car, but about 45 min by foot.

I liked everything.

Loved the open space, great to cook and chat and play games at the large table. Garden is great even though it's not attached, was fully expecting this as it was advertised. There was a well stocked shop in the village and a pub which we weren't expecting. Comfy beds and clean

We were staying Monday- Friday as 4 people, we were given a very limited toilet roll, one bin bag and a drizzle of washing up liquid, we had to buy all of these. Would have been nice if more had been provided.

Location was great, right nice to the station and a giant shopping mall. We stayed for 2 nights to go for a concert and the travel back and forth to the venue and also to the airport was flawless. Tthe breakfast was amazing, with lots of glutenfree options too!

The staff really didn't feel like working, you really had to beg for some assistance. The restaurant was closed upon arrival even for a drink, although the website is stating complimentary drink upon arrival. The room was supercold also, we rang to inform them about the AC not turning off, but I guess we just had to accept the cold in the room, it was like sleeping with the windows open in winter.

Stayed with family - cosy rooms and the host was very helpful and provided all provisions needed to help cook. Room was spacious but does need modernising.

Nothing - It was for 1 night and cheaper than a hotel - ideal use of facilities. The shower was a bit of a hit and miss but ok nonetheless.

The Carpark is only 40p cheaper at £25 than the adjoining public car park next to the Hotel. Why can there not be an incentive on this at say £15???? WiFi charged in room at £7 per day ….whereas in the Lobby it’s FREE????
