Positive section of review
We have stayed here a few times previously. It is located in the city centre and is close to everything that you will possibly need. It is also around a 5 minute walk to the train station which is very convenient as I need the train to go to the office (and where the RailAir airport buses are that conveniently go from Reading to Heathrow airport). There was a boiler issue in the apartment, but the staff quickly resolved the issue and transferred us to an alternative room. Special thanks to Alessandra, Lucy, and Fernando who assisted us when there were questions. Thanks also to Ms. Anna who cleaned the apartment every week. The customer service in this property is brilliant.

Lovely old house with lots of character. Room was large, nicely decorated, clean and comfortable, with a great view. Location great too. Pauline made us feel so welcome, and cooked a fantastic breakfast. Would definitely stay again, and highly recommend

Lovely quiet area, parking was easy and the Waves was exceptional, very welcoming and run with great care and attention to detail. We were made to feel very comfortable and would definitely recommend staying there.

Great location for the city centre. Parking available right outside. Lovely clean and comfortable rooms. Friendly staff. Excellent pub as well with fantastic choice of beers.

The welcome pack was lovely, nice short walk to the beach. Very nice and friendly neighbour who we enjoyed chatting with.

I had asked for breakfast tea bags and instant coffee in the room but I did not get any. Tea pigs and cafetiere coffee are not what the average visitor enjoys.

Just some thoughts. List of instructions how to use oven, microwave and tv for those who do not live in the uk. Water was unnecessary hot. A sign needs to be put on the driveway to say songbird lodge.
