Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Receptionist checked me in quickly and the barman showed me to my room. Room had a safe and a fridge which would be useful to some people. Room was big enough.

Didn't like the huge potholes when entering the car park. Bathroom needs a bit of an update. Restaurant wasn't open.

Property was lovely, very clean and very modern. Was a lovely touch to have the radio on gentle music when I first entered the room with soft lighting. Cooked breakfast was great and couldn’t fault it.

Electric charging spaces were not sign posted and nothing to stop others parking in them. I had to wait until the pub was closing before people moved their cars so I could use the charger. Evening food was all very pretentious and no real simple quick and easy food. But this is just being very picky.

Location is the best, right on the seafront and backing on to the lanes. Really nice communal / bar space. Family rooms are a good size.

Breakfast is expensive £18pp on top of the room rate which is pretty high as well.

Renovations were still on going which if I had realised the main entrance was closed and we had to go in and out the back entrance I would have waited the extra week to stay especially as we took friends and had given them big expectations on our previous stays. In their room the kettle and tv didn’t work but the ladies at reception did their best to rectify this and gave drink vouchers, our coffee machine and air con didn’t work and the bathroom sink didn’t drain after use, we reported it to reception to the manager that day and he wasn’t so nice as the ladies, rude and patronising.

The location is very good. The flat is spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable.

Having to send a picture of my ID in order to get the code for the lock box with the keys. It should be made clear before booking that this is required and the process needs to be improved because it was impossible to send it through Booking.com. There are no instructions on how to control the heaters. It would be handy to have a simple set of instructions for such things.
