Lovely historical features, an original 16th century plaster ceiling was a bonus! Comfortable and spacious we all slept really well. Light and airy kitchen with high ceilings, grand hallway and lovely lounge. Spotlessly clean with great showers. Penryn has some lovely historical building and we enjoyed eating out at Pizzeria42 just a few minutes walk away. Bus stop just outside perfect for busses uphill to station or a bus stop at the bottom for busses to Falmouth. Definitely will choose to stay again.

The owners welcomed us with freshly baked cream teas on arrival and a bottle of red which was a lovely touch. The general cleanliness and upkeep was also spotless. The location was a 3 minute drive to the town centre car parks which was also very convenient.

Spacious apartment. Beautiful bathroom. Bed and bedding very luxurious. Totally exceeded our expectations. Conveniently located in a lovely area very close to the centre with artisan bakers and great cafes.

The staff were really, really helpful. The room was clean. Loads of shops and restaurants next block away. Close to the station as well. It's pretty much in a strategic location. Love it.

No soap hanger on the wall in the bathroom. Such tiny detail is one of the core essentials must-have in any hotel regardless of its standard. I applied the soap on my palm. I was literally looking for where to drop the container, but I found no reasonable place to put it on. Tiny mistakes like this can ruin an overall good experience. It cost around 10 euros on Amazon. Just get one and stick it to the wall. I mean, it doesn't cost a liver or kidney to have that in the facility. Secondly, the bathroom floor is not ideal most especially for the elderly. It gets so slippery due to the plastic material on the shower floor that I forsee a potential criminal liability in the nearest future if that doesn't get thrown out for a more foot gripping material. Yes, there is a warning to be careful using the shower, but that won't strip the facility off any liability if any accident is to come from using the shower. It's just so obvious. I would stay here again, no doubt, but I will make sure the two points mentioned above are checked

Room was tiny and cluttered with needless furniture. There was 1m2 of floor space. It was referred to as ‘the cupboard’ by the host. This was someone’s house and it felt like it. 3 bedrooms with a shared bathroom. Signs saying do not have a bath as it costs them more money felt uninviting. I didn’t feel comfortable there and wouldn’t return
