When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.

After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

Everything! The location was superb, the accommodation excellent. Our room was spacious and overlooked the beach from the bay window which had two comfortable lounge chairs to sit in and relax watching the surf roll in. We opened the window as it was way too hot in our room; this allowed us to listen to the sounds of the beach which was wonderful and relaxing. The host was friendly and kind. She shared her local knowledge of where to eat and places to visit, freely with us. Breakfast was included and we joined other guests in the breakfast room (a dedicated space accessible only for breakfast) which was comfortable as we enjoyed a delicious traditional breakfast. We will return if ever up this way again - you could not ask for anything more!

The only thing we found slightly annoying was the creaking bed. Any movement (rolling over, getting out of bed) generated a loud creak from both sides of the bed.

Everything was provided that you could want, you really didn't need to bring much. Toiletries & even slippers & toothbrushes were there for use. All kitchen items such as washing up liquid, cloths, tea-towels etc were provided. A wonderful hamper of food was also included. Hosts were friendly & couldn't do enough for you. No problem answering any queries we had. Parking was nice & easy, as was finding the property location. We really enjoyed our stay.

If anything at all, it was the fact that Little Haven looks into the owner's garden & the back of their house where you can see into their dining room, which makes you feel a bit self conscious, so we usually had the blinds partially lowered. Having said that, it would not put us off of staying again as it's a great little place.

James, the owner, is fantastic nothing was too much trouble it’s just a great place to stay and central to everything. Fabulous staff, relaxed atmosphere and the food is all freshly cooked and served hot and delicious. Superb value for money all round, we wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

Only a continental breakfast, when we go to a hotel we like to indulge.

The room was lovely, comfortable and clean. Spa was first rate. Great pool. Location excellent -short walk along the canal to the city centre

Breakfast was disappointing. Eggs overdone. Bread horrible and cheap. Not great for vegetarians. Coffee poor. Much better in cheaper B&Bs in which we have stayed.
