The staff were very friendly and happy. The quality of the food was excellent. We ate in the restaurant for dinner, which had a good choice of food and drink at reasonable prices. The bar also offered food, but more choice of burgers, pizzas, etc.

I was not expecting the motel style of bedrooms. After dinner we had to walk in the rain back to our rooms. We had noisy neighbours, but that was probably wedding guests that had drunk too much and nothing to do with the hotel.

I was allocated a family room bizarrely as I was staying alone but it was nice to have the space. The staff were friendly and professional. Lovely room, however, only stayed one night so wasn't able to make full use of the facilities.

The room felt very warm, and I attempted to use the air conditioning, but apart from being very loud, this didn't actually appear to make any difference to the temperature of the room. There were no windows, but there was a French door, so I ended up opening this and leaving it ajar to introduce fresh air into the room. However, I didn't feel safe to leave this open all night. The TV was difficult to turn off via the remote as it was late into the evening when I returned to my room I put it on for a while to relax before going to sleep then wa sunabel to find a way to turn it off. I ended up turning the volume off and leaving the screen on, but the light from the screen disturbed my sleep. The standby function on the remote didn't appear to work, nor was there an easily accessible socket at which to turn it off on the wall. The layout of the hotel felt unusual, and the decor/ themes appeared to be conflicting, I wasn't sure what style this hotel was trying to be.

The experience was seamlessly enjoyable from the start- the hotel is easy to find, the car parking accessible, the reception staff unhesitatingly helpful and the room spacious with a sitting area and luxurious shower.

All the extras made it wonderful and deserving of the perfect score. The welcoming cream tea was much appreciated, the quality of bedding was exceptional, everything that we could need was supplied

Views amazing,location fantastic( can walk off road to Hawes). Decor was luxurious and plenty of onsite parking. Wonderful to have breakfast as late as 9.30am and it was delicious.

Peacocks were noisy during the night, bar menu limited and over priced , plus fine dining prices inflated. Chickens and peacocks jumping on to the outdoor dining tables.

Sky bar was good. Room was lovely. We got checked in early which was great.
