An absolutely wonderful place to stay. Plenty of room and lovely and clean. The kitchen had everything we needed. There was outdoor furniture to sit on the lovely deck overlooking fields and hills. It wasn't clear skies for us BUT I would imagine the night sky would be spectacular. Anne and Nigel were lovely hosts. Welcoming and friendly but not intrusive and full of great ideas about things to do. We can't wait to come back. Will be recommending this special place to friends and family.

Perfect location for the Forum Lovely big room with a beautiful, comfortable bed with a good choice of pillows. Lovely modern bathroom. Great facilities. Fabulous breakfast selection. 24hr bar with late night food options.

No mention of a £25 deposit on Booking.com Unable to use the car park despite being disabled. Bar man had an absolutely disgusting attitude and despite us spending 100's of pounds between 10 of us he refused us drinks at 4am because one of our party had expressed they wanted to go to bed, he actually chose to refuse to serve the other members of our party and when POLITELY questioned was rude, arrogant and accused a male member of our party of being drunk & disorderly. He went so far as to call the police!! Absolutely pathetic overreaction, which ruined our night and our stay. The person who was "Apparently" drunk and disorderly is a professional musician and had been working, so most definitely wasn't drunk, neither was he confrontational, rude, or disorderly. Your staff member, though, was rude, and his behaviour is an embarrassment to your establishment. Even the police agreed he was a jobsworth!!! We WOULD most definitely have stayed again, now because of that member of staff you have lost 10 repeat customers in 7 rooms!! Poor show Holiday Inn Express......

Unpacked my belongings and went out to dinner. When I returned the proprietor had gathered up much of my belongings and moved them to a smaller room to accommodate a family, without calling me for my permission. Bathroom is shared by several people and pool was closed in May.
