  Perfect location for visiting a show at The Forum or if visiting the Shipyard, very handy for facilities in town. Very impressive hot and cold breakfast choice for the price paid. All staff really friendly and helpful.

  A great stay in a very clean comfortable hotel. We found it very convenient for visiting all the places we wanted ie Halifax, Howarth and Hebden Bridge, even though it is very rural. Remember your swimming costume.

  I got a room at the second floor. I had a very early start so went to bed early. All went well till midnight when I was vast a sleep. Drilling and hammering noises woke me up.

  Building work started in the room next to mine at 23.00h. I phoned reception. They said the work would cease immediately. It didn't' . At 00.00h I had to get dressed, get my things and I was escorted to a new room at the other side o building. At the Aviator construction work is carried out at night. So no noises from the nearby airfield (very well insulated) but from within the hotel and from midnight on so to make absolutely sure you won't sleep a wink. They succeeded. I spent £ 194 on the room £ 46 at dinner. For not letting me sleep all night they returned £ 19 into my account. Fabulous compensation for a night without sleep

  Excellent location on very quiet cul de sac. We liked the room, it was very clean and well laid out.

  The subject of the bed is always a tricky one because we all want different things but we thought that the bed was way too soft to the point that we had packed up and left soon after 6am. For us , it was just too uncomfortable. The only other thing we didn’t like was the temperature in the bathroom, it was very cold and we couldn’t figure how to get the heat turned up.
