the location of the caravan on the site is excellent, 5mins from main complex and the access to the beach "bridge over the railway" was right behind the caravan. also tir prince fair and weekend market straight over the road from site. the TV remote stopped working, contacted owner, who responded immediately, just advised me to replace the batteries, if i couldnt get out, they would send someone, i popped to local market over the road and got some for £1....

ants in the kitchen area , we had to go out and get spray, which we had to use everyday of our stay, i even sprayed externally on the caravan as we couldnt see where they were entering from. VERY basic caravan, nothing "homely" about it, you can see where pics/clocks have been hung as the tacks/screws still in the walls. shelves empty where previous items may of been stood, but to be fair, if they have had damage previously i can understand why removed items the blinds are half missing from the front veranda window (hid in the TV unit drawer. ) a samsung remote suggests maybe a DVD player was in there previously. had to take own bed covers, which didnt know about until on the day i received message, had already set off, so had to go out and purchase covers! the outside veranda was full of dirt/branches/dust, not been swept or cleaned , so i had to hoover it off as best i could, and there was nothing to sit on outside either! didnt use the shower as hair on the shower wall, suggested not been cleaned, infact the quality of cleaning was not good, there were food marks on the wall near the bin (had to wipe off), and several other exposed wall area in living room , i had to wipe down. and cobwebs on the ceiling lights, and the lamp above the table bulb blown. and in the toilets, which had to flushed several times to make the paper go down. stains on the chairs at the table. **I WOULD ADD PICS BUT THEY ARE ON MY PHONE AND IM ON A PC DOING THIS REVIEW<DONT KNOW HOW TO SEND**

The location on Silver Street was perfect. I was walking the Camino Ingles de Santiago from RIchmond to Ripon and the route goes right past The Bay Horse. I received a very warm welcome from Anne and was shown to a perfect room - I loved the lounge area and the extremely comfortable bed.

Superb location with a very friendly greeting from the host. Very good breakfast cereal, yoghurt etc, we didn't have time to sample the cooked breakfast owing to an early ferry boat journey.

The beds were comfortable, we had 2 large beds so all the family can sleep. Breakfast was good and fresh with enough options Location was very good, in the city center, very close to shopping.

Room had a bad smell, we can not open any windows some fresh air. There were many homeless people around the neighborhood.

The accommodation was new and as the title says contemporary, suitable for a short break. It was nice to be so close to the centre to walk to shops.

The advertisement says free parking but this was incorrect. Parking was down the street in the multi-storey, thankfully £3 for 24hours though! There was no microwave or hairdryer which were mentioned in the listing. It also wasn’t a fully equipped kitchen. No oven mitts, no bin just a bag, no set of kitchen knives or kitchen scissors, cheese grater etc. just basic utensils. The fire extinguisher was in the wrong place and wasn’t fitted well and came off the wall almost landing on my foot.

The cottage was beautiful and very tastefully furnished

A couple of small criticisms. The bathroom could do with a lock or a hanging sign. Tbe garden was untidy and could look lovely if tended.
