The room was lovely with its own garden area and plenty of character with 4 poster bed. Breakfast and dinner [Fish & Chips and Lamb's liver] were both excellent. The bar area was really nice and would be great in winter with a log fire.

Lack of onsite parking can be an issue although we were fortunate and obtained a space right outside the front door. We had a problem with my credit card which was due to expire at the end of the month. Resolved by using another card although the original card was successfully used elsewhere.

The staff are exceptionally helpful. The lady Niki at the reception help us solve our request promptly. We are hiking the West Highland Way, the location is excellent and the room is clean. We vote them a 5 star 😍

Easy to find, smooth check in, though self-check in and check-out slightly weird in my view. It is nice to be welcome by a person.

The carpet everywhere is really dirty . In the room there were spider webs hanging from the ceiling . Probably rooms and corridors need refreshing.

I felt as though when I walked in it was just 1 bedroom and everything was crammed in there, there was no tv and could barely have the window open as whoever was underneath us was non stop smoking by the window, this was not ideal as I had my 3 year old toddler staying with me.
