  Beautiful house with excellent facilities. Well maintained lawn and ample parking space. Great kitchen which was huge and there was lots of cutlery, crockery, glassware etc. Bedrooms lovely with great showers. We were lucky to have fantastic weather and had a great time in the huge garden. Loved the recycling set up. Loved the upstairs sitting room, such a beautiful view. Well done to your house cleaner, she does a great job and is really friendly !

  We really needed extra hand towels, noted by other guests as there just wasn’t enough. Didn’t put us off as we will definitely be rebooking.

  Breakfast was quite good and the entire place seemed to be well cleaned (and even had a fresh scent when we arrived). Note to the owners: please do not ever downgrade your cleaning work, it's been a pleasant surprise and causes a much better first impression when compared to other places I've been to, which had stains, dirt and a not so pleasant / clean smell when coming in.

  It was not a surprise as live music was clearly stated when booking the room, but if I had to complain it would be about the noise / bad windows. The ear plugs provided are a good measure but are nowhere enough to block the noise from the party downstairs. Additionally, having the windows closed compared to open does not seem to damp the noise much - maybe a potential improvement to the room would be to swap the windows for better ones?

  The host was so friendly and helpful, the property was super spacious and clean with everything you could possibly need. We just loved it and I wish we'd booked for longer! I tried to book up for next year because it was just so perfect, but I was sad to find that it was booked already!

  We were greeted by a friendly lady. The bed was comfy. Nice new carpets. Close to shops. Water pressure of the sink tap was good. I liked that the bathroom mirror had a light.

  There was quite a strong dog smell in the breakfast area. Where new carpets had been laid, it was a struggle to open the bathroom door. The edge of the bathroom door was filthy. The shower had a lot of mould and limescale. The toilet seat was stained yellow and was loose. The water pressure of the shower wasn't great. Only 1 bedside table. No hairdryer or iron unless they were hidden away somewhere we missed! The kettle filter hadn't been cleaned.

  Getting lost in an automated system. What hosts I met were extremely kind and helpful. The persistent and excessive anonymous communications and confirmation before and during confirmed that I am simply a booking ref, not a person. This was irritating and a sad direction of travel for hospitality. Lovely place mind!
