I love many things about the hotel! 1) The price & convenience - it's reasonable for a one-night stay as I had an early morning flight to catch the next day. 2) The cleanliness - the toilet and bathroom are well-cleaned including the kettle! 3) The staff - when I was checking in, there was a guest who came down with her kettle and requested for a change as the kettle was not up to her standard, the staff agreed to a replacement with no question asked and the staff (a young boy of Indian race if I got it correctly) is full smile! He is so friendly and helpful! Overall, the room is comfortable and my entire experience is superb. I will make this my default hotel every time I have an early flight to catch.

I can't find any honestly. I did not use the WiFi because I have my own and I did not try the breakfast since I have a rather early flight to catch. If I really have to, I guess I can mention that there were 2 ironing boards in my room which I wasn't sure why and maybe it'd be great if I can have slightly more space for the tiny pantry as water tends to overflow as the kettle boils. Nevertheless, these are minor things, it didn't affect my experience at all!

The suite was huge, quirky and had lots of interestung features. The bed was really comfortable and luxurious. The shower was fantastic with a huge shower head and threw down lots of lovely hot water. It was spotless, the bedroom, lounge, and bathroom not easy when filled with beautiful antique/aged furniture peaces.

The B&B was in a great location with the front door opening onto High Town's main street where there was a good variety of shops, pubs, restaurants, a traditional street market and the historic Town Hall. The cliff railway and the Severn Valley Railway were within walking distance.

As a couple, not having a door to the bathroom was OK, but it might have proved a little awkward if another person was using the sofa bed. The position of the sink in the kitchen, tucked in the corner under the overhead cupboards left a bit to be desired because it was difficult to reach and I'm reasonably tall. We didn't find an opening window to let cool air in, maybe we didn't look hard enough. A hair dryer was provided, but we couldn't get it to work and a mirror over the bathroom sink would make shaving easier. No loo brush provide. Car parking was in a nearby public carpark, although it was reasonably priced and safe, not having your car on site can prove inconvenient if you need to nip out to get something because you have to pay to leave the car park and get another ticket on return.

The breakfasts were good but it was an odd choice of having Duck on the menu for breakfast. We felt it was over fancy. Dinner was expensive for what we had. Once again some odd choices on the menu.

We were in room 402 which we were disappointed with. There was an odd collection of furniture which didn't fit the room, I had to complain about the dead flies and cobwebs around the windows which clearly pointed out the room hadn't been cleaned properly, the bathroom needed updating and the mould around the shower tray was extensive. The toilet flush handle was ready to collapse. We were so disappointed as the views from the room were lovely.

Really convenient location. Tube and overground stations close by. Easy to get to shops, tourist attractions & plenty around if you needed more. Comfortable & clean. Easy check in process.
