The food in the restaurant was amazing, the glamping pods were very comfortable, the staff went out of their way to show us around and make sure we were happy. We brought our little dog, and they offered to look after him while we used the sauna and hot tub. The owner invited us to look at the stars through his telescope and was happy to talk to us at length.”

  Chris the owner was so nice, very helpful, full of knowledge, nothing was a bother, they had an honestly bar, pour your own drink and pay later or Chris was there to help, breakfast was first class, hotel was immaculate, I would highly recommend to all.

  Our room was on the top floor with 41 stairs up to it but that was our fault we didn't check before booking.

  Super comfy room. Very accommodating staff, all really helpful. Lovely location and amazing food in the restaurant in the evening. This pub is on the Bath to Bournemouth Sustrans cycle route so a great stopover spot.

  We had to leave early on Sunday and would have loved to have grabbed a quick breakfast but it didn’t start till 9am which was too late for us as we wanted to get going on our bikes.

  Some of the street noise late at night the seal to the basin in the bathroom was missing and so water could not be retained in the bowl for shaving etc. the seal to the bath screen was perished

  It was a good location for the event I was going to. It had a free car park.

  It was advertised as including breakfast but when we arrived we were told there was no breakfast at all. The charge was £112 which is a lot for a basic room single bed no breakfast no reception area.
