Absolutely disgusting place. Not told it was manned and no emergency contact number provided. No electricity in the room no shower no kettle no to remote no lights no plug sockets. Soap bottles were half used and full of mould. Tea bags were mouldy and wet. Door did not lock properly. And a naked man lay at the exit door so my children had to step over him to get out. Unsafe and unsanitary should be inspected.

The staff were extremely welcoming and accommodating. They were able to provide information about the local area, which was helpful. There is also plenty of choice for breakfast and the area to sit was clean, brightly and comfortable.

We visited for our anniversary, despite only living an hour away we enjoyed Tregenna for its closeness into town, the pools & the grounds (gardens are absolutely stunning)

When booking we made it clear we were wanting a massage, up until the day of arrival I was told to call “castle beauty” to book, which I did, turns out there were no beauty therapists in at all, as they were sick or on holiday, it seemed strange to be that they didn’t notify residents staying of the lack of facilities, especially as reception staff were even unaware! I spoke with someone who I found very stand off-ish & rather upsetting, but in the end Sheila dealt with our phone call, Sheila found a beauty room in town & booked us in for two massages (cheaper & very very good). Our room (110) had a sea view which was lovely however there was a strange musty smell on arrival & there was mould in the corners of the room, we tried to open the window but the safety catch stopped us, we felt boiling both nights however it turned out the heating was on full blast with no means of turning off!

It needs to let people know that to get to 02, it's at least 1 hour by car you can not walk, it is 0.6 miles away but a long time to get to, a toaster would be better in the room so you can have a little breakfast

Everything. Was way over priced. Did not look like the pictures at all. Was dirty. Bed was uncomfortable. Would never go with them again. Would of preferred to sleep outside
