During our trip to Scotland we stayed in 5 different accommodations and this was by far our favourite (group of 6 adults). We were positively surprised by this accommodation. Very cosy, with all the necessary amenities. This lodge is in a park with beautiful views. We could easily live there. Very quiet. It has an oven, so if you want to make pizzas or other quick meals, you have that option. The decor is beautiful and the lodge is very comfortable. If we go back to Scotland we will definitely book this lodge.

If I had to complain about anything it would be just to say the traffic noise in the morning. But I certainly wouldn’t let that stop me staying there again!

The midi pod was great. Really clean and had everything you could possibly need. Location was great less than 10 min drive to the promenade. Would definitely book again.

The bed is a small double, wasn't the comfiest bed and the pillows were quite hard. Hot tub could have been warmer, tried to up the temperature but it wouldn't allow me to go above 40 Celsius which was a shame.

Having to walk through public bar to get to room. Can’t physically open window in bedroom (number 9) Long wait for breakfast and better quality of food especially sausage and tinned mushrooms. On leaving having to pay a extra charge of £40 charge as through booking.com I booked family room with our 2 children and it only stated 2 adults?? But the lovely girl checking us in told us we had biggest room because of “family” plus their was 2 twin beds and no other beds made up!! We had to make up sofa bed and make up camp bed ourselves and went to staff to get linen. All duvets, pillows, camp beds crammed into a cupboard beside toilet. Manageress stated if fire alarm was activated they would be only looking for 2 adults but staff member checking us in knew was a family of 4!?? Thinking a fly move to over charge as looked into staying in few weeks for same room and only £155 (sat-sun) we were charged) £165!! The manager stated price increase so telling porkies!!
