The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.
2
When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.

After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

The family room was beautiful and spacious. Very clean and quiet. The location was 10 min walk to Mousehole and had plenty of parking on site. The breakfast was great and I could not have asked for more. The staff were very helpful and attentive. I would also recommend lunch and dinner here too. I would happily stay here again 😀

Lovely house with garden access in a quiet, family-heavy part of Stoke. Check-in instructions were clear and everything in the house was as advertised.

A £250 deposit wasn’t advertised on the booking and has yet to be returned around six days after check-out. There could have been more storage options in the upstairs bathrooms but other than that a good place to stay.

Perfect location, close to underground and many bars, restaurants and markets. Close to Hyde Park and Kensington garden. Comfortable bed.

Mirror in the bathroom too high, difficult to reach. Light curtains, the light came through the window at 5am. Breakfast needs improvement: coffe machine low quality, hot breakfast very poor size for eggs,no much options, bananas basically green, only mini croissan. Due to language barriers from the waitress and chef, when I asked for well-done eggs, the waitress brought me runny eggs. The thing I didn't like the most was that when I booked the room it didn't say "guest house," I found out once I arrived at the property. It would be helpful to have some staff on site in the evening, as no every guests respect the quiet time, there were people talking, laughing loudly past 11pm.

- good location just outside the centre of Livingston, but very quiet - ample parking - staff was very helpful - WiFi was excellent
Negative section of review
- this is not so important, but while the lounge and bar area make a very good impression, it’s clear that the public areas outside the rooms haven’t been renovated in many years.

Near the water & centre of city. Generally nice, friendly staff. Food was excellent. Very organised breakfasts.

Risk of car park flooding. Not always able to book a table for evening meal although many vacant tables.
