This is a good budget hotel. Never have high expectations of a non-upper end hotel in the UK. :-) This place did fine on that scale. Clean, friendly staff, a little rough around the edges, but nothing problematic. Location just a bit out from center center. And fine price compared with other places for a single night. So all good.

Should be closed down. Made the best man's speach, how bad it was. Many had black mold on the walls. Some getting full refunds. I didn't take pictures so can't go for a redund. Owners clearly running place into the ground before selling it for flats.

comfortable bed, relaxed approach, pleasant staff, good snack/bar menu, quiet room despite being in a pub setting, sensible bar prices if you drink, comfortable rather than pretentious.

Nice location, friendly staff. Room had tea /coffee making facilities. Ate in the 'chalet' for our evening meal- great food. Good choice of breakfast.

Room was very small (Elmleaze) we should have paid attention to the description as it did say small double. There was nowhere to hang clothes but as we were only staying one night it wasn't an issue for us.

Very minor improvement suggestions - spoons not stirrers in rooms please, think about layout at breakfast - you don’t need butter with your fruit and yoghurt but beside the bread, similarly putting whole milk beside cereal but semi skimmed beside the hot drinks. Why not put both choices at both places? Very poor choice on tv stations, would expect better from a major hotel chain.

Location was good and the property was great value for money for a group.

The key collection was tricky - the information didn't come through in a timely manner. Titan Living who manage the property didn't answer the phone and their v-mail box was full. The top front bedroom window leaked and caused dampness in the room. The windows, particularly the skylights, could do with a good clean.
