The host Jayne was very helpful, let us know when our room was ready and provided great communication. Welcomed us and provided us with great information about the area and local restaurants. Lovely woman. The room is itself was beautiful. Amazingly decorated, super clean and had everything you needed for a nice stay. Bed was comfy and the bathroom was immaculate. Breakfast was superb, best sausage I think I've ever had, made to order and was lovely. When we come to Weston / the area again we will definitely be contacting Jayne to stay there again. And.. did I mention how super clean the room was? My wife has OCD with cleanliness and couldn't find one thing wrong.

Only a few little points, nothing that ruined our stay or detracted from our experience. The light early morning does come in through the windows despite blinds and curtains. No TV in the room if that's something you consider essentially. But wasn't needed for our stay. Walls are maybe a tad thin, but again nothing that bothered us. Was an amazing stay.

The whole experience of staying in the hostel met all my expectations inasmuch that I required accommodation central to all of the places I wished to visit during my short stay. It was quiet and had a quaint charm suited to my requirements.

A very small observation was the lack of serviettes in the eatery and maybe a wider choice of cereal ie muesli or granola. Apart from that I can’t really think of anything that marred my stay.

It was clean and the room was gas well they keeled our luggage so we could go back for it just before we got the train which was a great help not having to take luggage with you all day

We liked the view from the bedroom. The location was also good as just a hop and skip into the village.

The room was far to hot. Window could only be opened a wee bit. The room needs a cooling fan to be left in room. No ventilation in bathroom. We found the beds quite hard to sleep in properly as also beds seemed narrow. Unnecessary large size reading lamp which was problematic as to big for size of room. The room was also up a number of stairs which is difficult for older people to drag luggage up and down. Also didn't see the owners at all in the two days. We thought Lochview was overpriced for what we got.

Wish it had a fridge in the room. Were advised property had parking. It does not. You park on the street if you’re lucky enough to get a park or find a parking station somewhere else.
