The hotel was amazing. It was in a beautiful position and felt like staying in a stately home. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. We were given an upgrade to a 4 poster room which was amazing. Our little dog was made to feel very welcome too. Also, it had a large car park and was only a few minutes walk from the village.

Room 12 carpet could do with a good clean & cobwebs cleaned off bathroom ceiling, black in shower cubicle needs cleaning off!

The staff was very good and friendly. The food was good and the location was perfect.

The room was terrible. A small double bed had been squeezed into what was obviously a single room. Nowhere to sit apart from the bed, which was pushed right up against the wall, meaning if you needed the toilet, you had to climb over your partner. No good for an older person. You could feel every spring in the mattress. Making it hard to sleep. The whole room and bathroom needed completely redecorating. Even the carpet was oddments put together.

Very good value basic accommodation ,staff were all very nice .

A lot of noise outside the room from the large tv screen late at night (even after the football match was over the screen was just left on playing to nobody ) then early morning noise from the car park with guests leaving very early . My room was fine but there was a horrible smell outside in the corridor .
